Sew happy

My latest creation is shown below. Burlap stretched over a frame. I hope this one makes it to market. The last one I did the green canvas butter fly piece I donated to the local fireman's fundraiser. They got 50 dollars for it so really happy.

The 25th Annual Tulare Renaissance Festival...and Other Happenings

Good Morning ,

I occurred to me that I have not posted in a while. Well I have a good excuse for this and it is because I am part of a group that puts on the Tulare Renaissance Festival. This is a large annual even that happens every year and it is allot of fun and work. both of which I am big fans of.
We have great entertainment such as Jugglers, Jousters, and Duelist. We hosted and example of the Scottish Games, Battle Reenactment, and Sword fighting Tournaments this year.

If you are curious as to who this fits my business model, it is easy. I sew a lot for this fair and the other ones I attend. So the Sewing thing is Huge for me. Have fun, I will post more later when I have finished my newest costumes for Pirate Fair coming up in Fresno.

New Wall Art Piece

As stated earlier I was inspired to do a larger canvas piece. This time I recycled paint chip samples from the architecture firm my husband works at. They come already in variegated in color so that made it easier. I am planning more projects with this medium.

Spring Butterfly Wreath
